What as opposed to a bloke I didn't fancy????

What sort of a question is this... why the feck don't you just ask your dinner date why she didn't make a pass at you....maybe she just didn't fancy you.... crazy notion I know.. but surely within the realms of possibility Zulu9.

Oh yes! And why not? After all, we are now in the 21st century, why should we have to wait?
I am very happily married now to a lovely man but before we met I met a few men and I think it was very equal to who took the lead part.

Not only would I...I did!!
I got bold & took the initiative to pay the bill on my own!! Boy, was he surprised!!

(J/K...I took the 'initiative' with my Karmic Lego. And we've been living together awhile, now. One of the best things I ever did!!! I never felt bold enough to do that before, but it was just so "right"!!)

If I thought the bloke liked me too.
I wouldn't make the first move, if I thought I was gonna get knocked back but if he gave me a few signs then I'd go for it.

That depends on how the dinner was going. If he showed interest and we really hit it off then why not? You need to read his cues and determine if he's the type who would appreciate you being forward or if he's more traditional and needs to go at his own pace.

No, I would not.

If I'm with a man who's too much of a wimp to take the initiative himself, then stuff him!

Im assuming a "bloke" is new slang for guy? Anyway, Ive always been able to take the first step. You just have to realize guys are human, too and if you want it,go get it.

You mean, would I jump on him. Probably. But only if I really fancied him and was pretty sure he fancied me back.
