This is a really personal question but i have to find out what it is. For the past couple of years, the shaft of my penis has little white bumps all over it. What is it and how can i get rid of them?

Go to your doctor, or local Planned Parenthood clinic. You could have an STD. Don't be embarrassed to talk with a health care provider about this or any other condition that bothers you. You can't possibly tell or show them ANYTHING they haven't seen or heard before, and most of them will appreciated the fact that you're seeking treatment.
P.S. Avoid sexual contact with ANYONE (even with condoms) until you find out what it is!

probably just hair follicles shouldnt be a big issue

sounds like herpes....there is no cure for this but there are treaments to prevent outbreaks
