A = Excellent or Exceptionally Good; or top 10% (90 to 100, of 100) = 4.00
B = Above Average or Above Average Expectation; or second 10% (80-90) = 3.00
C = Average or Average Expectation; or third 10% (70-80) = 2.00
D = Poor% (60-70) = 1.00
E or F: Failure or Exceptionally Poor; or bottom 60% (0-60) = 0.00

So, a B- would be a 3-3.2ish

At my college, it is 2.7 also.
A=4.0, B=3.0, +/- 0.3 for plus or minus.

yes, but why even aim for that? ~ aim for at least a 3.4 ~ -B is about 2.9 -3.0 average.

Depends on your school.

At my college, that would have been a 2.67.

A = 4.0
A- = 3.67
B+ = 3.33
B = 3.0
B- = 2.67
C+ = 2.33
C = 2.0
C- = 1.67
D+ = 1.33
D = 1.0
