Think both these shows are awesome and it's about time we get some people who'll give the American the truth! It time for a change!

Oh, most definitely. If anybody can straighten out the mess Bush made, its going to be those two. Stewart for Pres. and Colbert for Vice Pres.

Edited: I didn't give this question my full thoughts. I do believe that it is time for a change, one that will give America truth. Sadly, I don't think Stewart and Colbert would be good candidates for Pres. and Vice Pres. They make us laugh with their hilarious shows, but what America really needs is a sovereign who can represent this country's glory and efficiently serve as a president.

I see what you mean, and certainly it would be hard to do worse than the freaks we've got now. And these two are intelligent, humane, and, above all, SANE.

But a couple thoughts:

they wouldn't want it;

they wouldn't be able to do much unless we gave them a Congress of humans, rather than the bunch of bozos we've got now (most of them, there are a very few exceptions).

The bigger concern right now is to get in place a Congress that will stop the Executive branch doing any more damage.

But, if, on election day, those names were on my ballot, yes, I'd vote for them and be happier to do so than I've been in any election I've voted in thus far.

Oh, yes! Both very smart guys with political savvy and seemingly inherent decency of character. It would be wonderful to have people like that in the White House! Sigh...

Oh, yes!! That would be a ticket from hell. Haven't we already had enough?? Maybe a more realistic tandem just MIGHT wrest the presidency away from the Republicans. I doubt it, but it is possible.

Chow!!

No, They are much more effective as comedians enlightening us with their satire than they would be as politicians mired in buerocracy!

No. They are good entertainers, but definitely not able to be taken seriously.
