I quit working for greedy corporate bean counters and started my own company. I was tired of being treated as if I were stupid and worthless by people who were clueless and ineffective.
My excuse for quitting (which I wrote in my resignation letter):
"I disagree with the direction this company is taking and prefer to leave before I am ashamed to be an employee here."
