Have a baby shower with games or just a nice dinner with all of your girl friends and family?

Why would you want the one you chose?

I'm not pregnant. I've already had my son but I would much rather a nice dinner.

I think it depends on the person. Some people frown upon shower games. A nice dinner with freinds and family is always nice. If you really wanted to throw in a game I think Baby Shower Bingo is the best. Everyone loves the game, and it is not too cheesy! A shower filled with 'how big is your belly' and 'testing baby food' is a little over the top in my opinion.

I'd rather have a baby shower with games b/c you can include a nice dinner in that. You can have dinner and then do a couple little games. I think it just seems more relaxing to be at home in a comfortable atmosphere that late in your pregnancy.

I want a baby shower..just because it is my first and it seems kinda traditional...pluz your buddies get to bring you all kinds of good stuff to play with (lol put together and situate in the baby's room) before the baby gets here and it is a day to relax and have fun with your buddies. (I dont have a lot of family where I live...all of them are scattered all over the states lol...so its hard for us to all get together for a dinner or anything like that....but if you have had children and decide you want a more formal day than a nice dinner with family and friends would be cool..) good luck

My baby shower was a family BBQ. Women, Men and Kids were all invited. It was casual, no silly games. It was really nice. Everyone enjoyed. I dont think anyone really enjoys the games anyways, its just a time waster really.

I would much rather have a nice dinner. When i was pregnant i always wanted to eat.Family & friends normally bye things for the baby anyway,so in that case i would give up the shower.I did'nt get one with my 15mth old.Had one after my 5yr old was born & it really was'nt that exciting.

I hated the games. I didn't want people guessing my belly size. That was really depressing. I didn't want all the rotten advise on how I was going to feel and how miserable life is and blah blah blah. However, my second shower we hung out and watched football and ate lots of food. That was the best.

A nice dinner. That way the hubbies and other kids can be involved also.

you could do both, have it at a nice fancy hotel, order nice good food for everyone, then after that have the fun part, have games,GOOD prizes,do games like people have to guess how big your stomach is and have them guess stuff like that ,and CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!!

Have a great time at your shower and good luck with the baby

I think a nice shower would have both of those things.
