And how many married men got caught in the classic man trap???

These days there aren't as many silly women like this as there are who get knocked up but not married. As if raising a kid weren't hard enough but to do it alone when they could have their "lover" help.

There are many women out there that got "knocked up" and the main reason, I think, is because of the family. Family has a lot to do with everything. Dysfunctional families to be specific. I have some cousins that have been "knocked up" and one of them didn't get married. Which is just as bad. The other one got married, had another kid, got divorced, got back together again, then I think a third one is on the way. She is a mooch. She mooches off my granny for $4000 for a down-payment on a house. She already filed bankruptcy and can't even pay for her car. What if her husband files bankruptcy and then they would get the house and my granny is out 4 grand.

Wow, lots of bitter people out there. I accidently got pregnant (i.e. "got knocked up") even though I was on birth control. Accidents happen people!!! We did get married and we have been together a long time now and are very happily married. It was actually the best thing that ever happened to me! Just thought I would share a "happy story" since everyone seems a bit bitter about this subject!! :o)

If I had to advise my son (who is now only 3) if he should marry someone he does not love (pregnant or not!) I would tell him not to do it. And I would stand right by him! One silly mistake does not need to lead to two silly mistakes.

If my daughter (who is now only 7) turned to me on the morning of her wedding and said 'I do not want to go through with it.' (pregnant or not) I would stand by her and protect her from a big mistake.

We do not live in the 1930s any more. Emotional blackmail is not love. Love is the only good reason for getting married!

I ended up with child after the first time I had sex, and I did marry the guy , however I was just a child myself { 15 YRS. OLD } so to
all of you young girls out there, nothing is 100% safe . Don't
have sex if you intend to live your life for yourself instead for your child .

nope...we planned ours...would never try to trap a guy by getting pregnant, it would be cruel....but i do know of some who have tried and lost out big time....i was married 4 years before we decided to have kids...we had to build a home for them first,
