The mode of a list of numbers is the number that occurs most frequently in the list. A list can have more than one mode.

If you add a number, the mode will only change if there was more than one number that was the most common (that is, there was more than one mode), and the new number is equal to one of the modes. Then that number will become the only mode.

The mode can also change if the new number causes that number to occur just as frequently as an existing mode, in which case it is a mode as well.

The range will only change if the new number is less than or greater than all of the numbers in the list, because the range is the difference between the largest and smallest values.

The mode is the most popular observation or outcome. If you added a number that was the same as the mode, the mode would stay the same. If there was a second most popular outcome, with one less obs than the mode, you would then have 2 modes, ie bimodal.
The range would only change if the new observation was outside the existing range.

Mode is the Most Common Number in the set. if you added another number, it would only matter if you added one that was the same as one in the group of numbers already, like having 30,31,32. there would be no mode, but when you add another 31, your mode is 31. the range wouldn't change unless the number you added was larger than the largest number in the group, or smaller than the smallest.

mode- most seen number. the mode would change only if there was another identical number. and the range would change only if it was the lowest or the highest number because your difference would change.
