the guy from creed uses a PRS (paul reed smith), joe satriani and steve vai use Ibanez, chris carabba from dashboard confessional uses Gibson, tom delonge from blink 182 uses Fender Strats... most pop rock players use a Gibson sg or a fender stratocaster. other guitars you might have heard of would be Fender Telecasters, Gibson Les Pauls, Taylor (predominantly acoustics), Martin (only acoustic), Jackson (these are electrics, mostly heavy metal and shred guitars) and i think some bands are starting to use First Act... though these guitars REALLY suck. a lot.

Yeah, that's gonna be Iron Man by Black Sabbath. The note is an open low E string with a wammy bar. If somehow it's not that then it's gotta be an AC/DC song since they did the entire sound track for Iron Man 2.
