Ask him straight out, if you are not confident with this, ask him what plans he has concerning the two of you.

I think if you actually ask him straight it may be a the best option as, in these days it does not need the man to ask, but if you are sentimental, I would advise on the second option.

In any case you could drop a few hints, like take him to a jewellers and show him the ring you would like for an engagement, or, tell him what sort of wedding you are looking for.

Beware though, do not be to forceful, otherwise, if he is not ready, you may scare him away. Be subtle and pass a few messages descretely. Do not force the matter or it may be a situation that he may see you as being desperate.

Have confidence in the love that you have already, and honestly you will see, when he finds the time is right he will come to you and ask you without question...

Now a days I think its acceptable to ask him instead of him asking you. Maybe he's really nervous about asking you? So just say "hey I've been thinking about this lately and well would you marry me?" and he'll either say yes or no. Easy as that. Good Luck!

Hey, if he is not asking, you should leave. Make him think that he is going to loose you. If he wants to marry you or it's even an opition, he will rethink things real quick if you leave. He doesn't come to you, then he doesn't want to marry you, and you should leave and find someone who wants the same out of life as you do.

You dont want to pressure him into marriage. If it was meant to be it will happen eventually. A forced or influenced marriage will almost never work. After the newness has worn off and reality sets in so will resentment.

God knows I've been trying for ages, my hints just don't work. All my friends are getting married and I feel well left out. I hope you find the answer to this problem!

oMy husband didn't actually ask me- we were looking to go on Holiday to America and I just sort of arranged it - like oh we can go whitewater rafting on the grand canyon and get married in Las Vegas Men are generally quite gullible - I actually got pregnant on our honeymoon- so that was a bonus!!

Ask him how he would cope if you werent around - he should realise he can't do without you and not want to lose you - you'll be hitched before the year is out!
