An overheated CPU would cause this. Though you'd get a message saying so next time you reboot.

A virus or other malware may cause this too.

Also, a problem with hardware such as memory or the motherboard may cause this too.

Alienware is pretty hardcore gamer hardware. My first line of thought leads to overheating. Their systems are well-tuned to maximise hardware use, but it really does need all its cooling working properly.

Try this: run your system for the 10-20 minutes until it switches off. Switch it back on, if it's overheating the system will shutdown much more quickly the second time (<5 mins). If that's happening the odds are good that something's overheating. Check that all the fans are running and replace any that are stopped. The other thing to have a look at is in the BIOS. There will be a screen that shows you the system temperatures (keep the case on for this). Keep that screen open for a few minutes and check that the temperatures look normal.

Sounds like something is overheating. You need to open up the case and make sure that all of the fans are operating correctly.

nicely for me its certainly a great turn off reason i would not be sexualy aroused. i'm 31 now yet whilst i replace into 18 I in easy terms dated great females, some situations skinny yet they mandatory a reliable handful length interior the chest area. all the different flat females have been put in the chum zone... yet it wasn't unavoidably a foul factor reason if i'm no longer sexualy attracted to a woman i stumble on it a hell of plenty much less complicated to hangout with them on a time-honored foundation and not get unpredicted "wood".

Most likely a virus is in your computer. You should scan your computer or start in safe mode and then scan as this will give better results then normal. (Press F8 button while your computer loads)

Try ewido.com and filseclab.com as they have worked well for my test run using them.
