My understanding is that you pick a degree course when you apply, and you pretty much just take courses within that suject. So if you're a biology student, for example, you'd take certain classes that are required for all biology students, and you'd get to pick a couple more specialized classes, like plant physiology or genetics, but you wouldn't take courses in unrelated subjects like history or Spanish. I may be completely wrong about that, but I've been reading up on it quite a bit recently as I'm considering doing a year abroad in the UK next year.

In the US, you can definitely start a new foreign language in college. If you had already studied in in high school, you might even skip out of the first year course as it's intended for new students. Since we have no real standarized measure for high school achievement, there's not really another way to do it. But in the UK, many programs require certain grades on certain A-level exams to enroll in particular courses, so you may or may not be able to study a foreign language in uni that you didn't study in secondary school. It would depend on the school, so you'd have to check with them.

Hello,

If you mean an Undergraduate study, it would be one degree for a minimum of three years.

Also, if you have the finances as well, because there are expensive, especially if you are a foreigner....

Bonne chance!

if u mean majors, 2-3 is already a lot, but if it's just subjects, 6 is fine.
