I think if you go to your County Clerk's Office, they should be able to tell you what steps to take to find the history of your house.
Good luck! I hope you find something exciting! :)

you'll opt for to start up on the court living house with a deed seek for of the land. then attempt to stumble on some previous timers contained in the realm that would recognize who has lived there. at this factor you may want to ask what got here about to those human beings. feels like you could imagine you've a spirit there! probability is not any matter if it really is an older living house you'd be listening to settleing of the body artwork. did you recognize that a house it really is approx. 100 12 months previous would have a lumber shrinkage of between a million/4 ti a million/2 inch?? that signifies that all the framing lumber is now smaller in length than it became at the same time as the living house became equipped. this would reason the living house to creak and dad (highly at evening at the same time as the temp. begins replacing). do not recognize if it truly is your challenge in spite of the indisputable fact that in accordance to the bible, once someone dies, they recognize no longer some thing. position a bible in each doorway interior at evening and be conscious what takes position!!! this can replace issues if it truly is your case!!!!! good success to you! the dj guy stated that!

Here in CT you go to the town hall for records, etc. and lots of towns have online databases but it you've never done that then go to the Town Hall (if you can) and they will set you in the right direction. Even if it is another municipal dept it should be closeby, so you should be able to get all your info within an hour or two. If you can't go to the Town Hall then call them and follow the runaround until you get your answers.

Archives in your county, should be at the court house. That would be a good place to begin, find out who held the deeds to your home and go from there. Good luck

Try the library, they have old newspapers on micro fish that you can scan thru. Maybe try the zoning or housing dept as well.
