"Hey, fight with the liberals on this one. They take better care of their pets then their children."
Are you kidding?! I'm a pro-life liberal... so your generalization is there-by FALSE!
Closed-minded fool.

The presence of a heartbeat definately measurably and detectably confirms the existence of life which began at conception. Untill the heartbeat is detected - life exists as a possibility though it may be very much there. In some countries abortion is illegal because of the existence of life. The earliest indication of its existence - i.e. the mother has concieved - is when the period is missed. The heartbeat gives the signal that indicates that the foetus is alive and well and developing into a baby.

From the moment of conception a baby's heart is continuosly forming. And not fully formed until 4 weeks after conception. Therefore life begins at the moment of conception.

that's a touchy question, i don't think unborn babies are alive until they have a heart beat and brain waves..before that they are almost just a parasitic growth.
but i wouldn't kill it since it's going to be a baby soon..
