Thundering and lightening in England today, which means I have a real fire going and the house is boiling!!
Like to air the place out (no air con in England) but the bugs get in, and I don't like that at all...

I live in a snow bank so there is not much I can do, but IF I lived in a house I would have to say on days like this doors and windows OPEN

It's been a miserable afternoon here but the rain has stopped and I'm sat next to an open window letting the fresh, clean, air into my room. I hoping that the spirit of a delicious Dutch man may visit me in the night and take my breath away...

I like to keep the bathroom window open all day almost everyday. It gets pretty cold here, so the other windows pretty much stay closed. If I leave my door open, who knows what the cat might drag in ... an Ichi?

I don't much care about the windows, airing out the place isn't a big deal. I do want the doors at least unlocked, though. For whatever reason, I can't abide feeling like I'm locked in (yes I know they're locked from the inside, but it doesn't make any difference).

I keep the doors closed because of flies but I crack the windows sometimes to get fresh air in the house.

I like the fresh air drifting through the open windows. I like an open door policy( for family and friends) unless I am home alone or it is night.
