I want to be a famous writer but I wouldnt want people following me or taking my picture all the time

Not famous, but maybe a little more money, so I don't always look like a lil ragamuffin chuggin round town. Seems that the nastiest running clothes are exactly the ones that give you no trouble, so that is what you always wear.

As long as I had a Pen name............sure.

If I ever get published as a writer, I would want Marianne De'Gingerio to be totally famous. That way I could feel a sense of pride.....without all of the politics that goes with it. :)

It depends for what... if it is for something cool, like finding a cure for cancer or inventing chocolate that does not make you fat... then yes... if just for the sake of being famous... like um,,, Miss Paris... and who-ever spends the night in a Hilton... then NO.
