just published web pages now how do i get them listed in search engine?

my web site is www.toppermate.com i can pull it up on yahoo, but how do i get it to show up on the search engine using my keywords? or do i just need to be patient? I have been building this site forever and am at the point where I don't know what else to do?

Search engine optimization is a big area and you need to research on the subject. Open google and type in search engine optimization or SEO it will show you enough info. At the minimum submit your site to google at http://www.google.com/addurl/ and to yahoo at http://search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html.
