First I wanna say- I've really enjoyed all the answers! Made me laugh! Seriously tho- I holler for my big strong hubby to come kill it!! I've had bad experiences with "big ugly bugs" jumping on me and getting right in my face, and I HATE that! I think girls scream because it a natural reaction! One day my 13 yr. old daughter was screaming terrified, I ran in to see what was a matter, looked down saw a big red wasp on her foot & realized I was screaming louder than she was. We got it off her foot somehow and locked it in the bedroom til her big brother got home!

When I see a huge bug I crush it. I guess girls scream because bugs are gross!! Not all of us scream though.

I hate getting close to it, so I usually take a can of hairspray and try to paralyze it with the spray. It usually works especially well on daddy long legs but if it's a bigger bug, then I try to take heavy objects I don't need like a magazine and throw them at long distance onto the bug. hahaa.

omg why does it matter well i dont scream but some girls do thats true ummmmmm well i just get my mom or dad 2 come smush it i guess i just stand on a chair or something it just depends on who it is and whether they scream or not

like you said, i would scream. girls scream out of shock and fright because they don't know where the bug will go when it flies, who knows maybe it will fly to their face? that's why.

i dont really do anything. i just kinda keep going. and i think girls scream because if there's a cute guy around and they want him to come kill it so they can hang all over him.

the other night i woke up in the night because i felt something crawling on my feet. it was a big spider. i ignored and went back to bed. in the morning i noticed it was all the way up in the ceiling. i think it is still there.
