Why is it when you get really bad service from a retail you can get your money back but if you get really bad service, and care from a doctor your ins does'nt even take the time to look in to it,and still pays. Then you get the bill and refuse to pay it just goes to collections and they don't care they just want to get paid.

The insurance company goes by what the doctors diagnose you with. I would ask for the diagnosis and recommendations that are written on my chart, and then I would ask for a copy of my medical records. If you feel it is in error, you can fight it. Good luck. I guess that is why it is called "The practice of medicine." Most of the time the doctor listens to what the nurse tells him and if I were you, don't ever tell the nurse anything if he or she asks what you are there for. Just tell them it is personal. On the bright side, if the insurance is paying, then you are lucky. Some don't pay well.

NEVER - EVER just refuse to pay the bill. That'll get you in trouble every time.

You might take other action - and the insurance party might wait for payment, pending resolution (or they might not).
