Thats what i did on my birthday when i was 6! I still remember it. We lived near a creek and there were tons of frogs. Fun!

Absolutely, it was my main source of entertainment as a kid up at the cottage on summer vacation.
Last weekend I was at at family get together at a retreat with family and went for a walk with my 5 yr old daughter and we found a creek and spent a couple of hours catching frogs.
Being a girl she had her own take on it and would have a little coversation with each frog before she let it go again.
I could barely get her to leave and she has been talking about it ever since.
Its even more fun watching a kid of the XBox generation find my old pastime as fun as I did.

I love frogs. I used to take pictures of them.I like the noises they make too.
You might want to see the movie, "The Triplets of Belleville" ("Belleville Rendez-Vous") by Sylvain Chomet. It is an animation about an orphaned boy named Champion whose grandmother trains him to be in the Tour de France butr he gets kidnapped by the French mafia. In the end, the vaudeville performers (the triplets) and frogs play a major role. It was the winner of the Telluride film festival in 2003.

Yes. Behind my mom and dads' is a swamp. When we were all young we used to catch many frogs and have frog legs with dinner!! Was quite yummy!!

We have a creek out back of my old house and I tried to catch the little ones. But funny story is that I didn't catch any, but some how they ended up in my house.

No...but i used to shoot them. You shoot just under them when they pop there eyes outta the water and they fly about 50ft into the air. it's freakin hilarious.
My wife says she used to grab them and throw them up into the air. And when they fall back down there belly will pop and it will kill them. She is a sadistic lil puppy huh?...hahahaha Don't blame her... She is from Louisiana. She can't read good. hahahaha
