Near the same displacement, but the big block was much bigger. What difference does it make in terms of racing? Similar trucks.

351 m is bigger than a cleveland or winsor-im not sure if its considered a bb or not-i had one in a f-250-great fer pulling or towing but not for racing-im a chevy boy anyways and theres alot more you can do to a 350sb-matter a fact im lookin fer one now for my cutlass-alot more power- cheaper parts and more dress up items

351M isn't a big block. A 351M is nothing more than a 351 made with a 400 block. Theres the 351 and 351 Windsor made with the typical block and then there's the 351M (meaning - modified) which has the 400 block.

Personally, I don't like the 351M and I found that the 350 Chevy small block has a lot more potential.

351 is not a big block but will be heavier then say a 302. They make very good power but the best is the 351 windsor block with clevlend heads... good strong powerful combo.
