Yes, because you can't say what is good and what is evil.
Suppose a man steals to feed his children, then it is evil from the society's view, but would the unfed children also say the same?

in my english class, my teacher keeps telling me that topic to theme equals thesis, so you might try using that as a guide. A theme is a general statement that is found in all literature, but always be specific.
