"Bringing Home the Bacon." In 1971 or 72 a friend and I would get a bottle of Boonesfarm Strawberry Hill or a quart of Schlitz malt liquor, a couple of joints and hit the parties. I remember this song on the 8 track. It is a later song than "Whiter Shade of Pale", different album, I believe. I have looked for this song for years. My friend used to get so sick of it because I would play it over and over.

Yes it was released in 1973 on essential records. The album was procol harem Grand Hotel. You can listen to it on rhapsody.com free trial. Hope this helps you out hun.......Flo

i dont "remember it" so much as i'm aware of it because one of my friends has a stoner uncle that plays their stuff EVERY DAY. dont get me wrong, its not bad, but i cant handle that old hippie dude mumbling all the time and NEVER playing any other music.
