I believe it's in the gas tank. You should be able to have someone turn the key on and off and listen for it. if it's in the tank you can take the gas cap off and have someone turn the key to the on position and listen for a buzzing noise or a humming noise near where you fill the car up. If you hear it there then it's in the gas tank. or you can go under the car and have someone keep cycling the switch on and off and follow that humming sound till you locate where it's coming from. Usually in or near the tank.

There are two places the the fuel pump will be. Either in the tank (electrical) or on the block (mechanical) the best way to tell is to follow the main fuel line from the engine back towards the tank. If the line enters a "saucer" like thing on the side of the block then you have a mechanical pump. If the line runs completely back to the tank without entering anything (minus the filter(s)) then you have an electrical pump. Plus if the engine is fuel injected (EFI) then the pump is electrical, because a mechanical pump will not provide enough presser

It is in the fuel tank. Can try autozone.com, or maybe a better one called alldatapro.com.
