im 5 foot 7 and 13 years old, i hate it so much, my friend is about 4 foot 11 or 5 ft and is the same age, she hates being short, and i hate being tall. i have no idea why she wants to be tall! i wish we could trade places to make us both happy...

People like being themselves. you can't dictate your height, so like your self for what and who you are. Acceptance is peaceful.

Well I'm tall too and have been tall my whole life just like you. But as I got older and stopped growing all the boys then began to be taller than me. But I'm still tall and I hate it but now that I am 20 years old I have learned to deal with it. It is so hard to find the right clothes because the ones that fit in the waist are to short and the ones that are long enough are to big so its not fun but things will get better. I still don't wear high heels that often only when my boyfriend ask me too, he loves me in high heels.

God you are so lucky! Im 13 too and im 5'5 and I think most people would want to be taller because you can eat more and gain less weight cause your so long that your food has many places to go unlike a 5 foot person who only has that much space for fat. And if they wanted to be a model then you have to be a certain height. Like you could be a model but your friend couldnt.

My son has AWAYS been at least a head taller then the other kids his age. He used to be proud of being tall. He never really understood that teachers and coaches expected him to act as many years older as he looked. Now in grade 7 he is the tallest in the school. The younger kids tease him ALOT, knowing he will not hurt them. He suddenly feel like freak and a giant. He desk is too small. He coaches do not understand why he does not act 14. He has always been sensitive, and he feel it would be easier if he did not stick so much. My boy who used to love his height, feels sad stupid and like the freak at school.

Well, I am 5'4" and when I wear heals and am taller than some people around me it can make me feel like...not superior...it just seems to give you more confidence. However if I were to tower over my friends all the time in every group I would feel akward and like I was standing out. On the same token when I am around people that are taller than me sometimes I feel like...just little and akward, lol. Its a no win situation...

maybe no body wants to be at either end short or tall but in the middle
with your friend shes maybe a little short for her age and your a little tall so if both of u were around 5'3" or4" the youd both be happy

Some people think that height is synomonous with being superior. They are, of course wrong, but you still meet such shallow people in life.

im tall for a girl. and i love it! i get to look down at people or be face to face most of the time! && i can still feel short because all the guys at my school are tall. and they make me feel short. i mean, 5'8 compared to 5'3??? big diference!
