ke=1/2 Mv^2
1/2 * 23kg * 8.8^2 m^2/s^2=890.56 J

KE = 1/2 m v2
where m = mass in kg
v = speed in metres per second

KE = 0.5 x 23 x 8.8 x 8.8
=890.56 J

The formula to use here is:
KE = 1/2 mv^2
Kinetic Energy = 1/2 mass * velocity squared

m = 23 kg
v = 8.8 m/s

KE = .5 * 23 kg * (8.8 m/s)^2
KE = 890.56 Joules
