If you have a repertoire for singing, dancing, and acting, yes. However, you must be EXTREMELY talented...remember that only approximately 0.553% of people who audition for New York City plays, musicals, etc. are accepted.
You've got to be very talented if you want a New York debut...however, remember that talent comes with confidence...it's something I've remembered all my life in order to help me throughout life.

If you are willing to sweat blood and tears for this career, then yes. You just have to realize that there are really only two places in the country where this industry is big and serious. They are New York and Los Angeles. It is extremely expensive to live in either place, and lower level jobs in the industry do not pay well. Be prepared to pay your dues while making low wages for a long time. Even then, it will take a lot of hard work, a good attitude, and a little bit of luck to make things work.

Why not...thats where Kiss got started as musicians.
The secret to becomiing succesful in music is not always how many units of CD's you can sale, but how you play your music.
Saturday Night Live started out and hiring many comedians that were making headways in the clubs in New York.
Actors looked for work in small films and hoped for big breaks as they continued looking for work.
Dustin Hoffman started out doing odd jobs part time and trying to do work as an actor from trying out in commercials and such, but his big break finally came in" The Graduate" which sent him to stardom.
Sylvester Stallone workjd in cheap films making no great money and absolutely going nowhere, but he was on the board and that would take him to a producer that wanted to film a cheap movie about a boxer in the Bronx of New York that becomes a succesful fighter. They had no idea that Rocky a chep budget film would literally make millions and set Slyvester Stallone to sardom. It was not an overnight success, but lets' be real..success in failure turned inside out.
