I think it depends on the venue. At the airport I think it is sweet but in the street it is just trashy. at the movies a passionate kiss is only offensive if the action is better than the movie at the theater it is almost always going to be. And at the opera you might distract the diva.

A hug and a peck on the cheek to greet a friend, as long as you both fell comfortable with that then it's fine.Anything more than that you have to be a little sensitive to more than just the people involved, especially if your in a public area. holding hands and hugging/cuddling is fine and the odd kiss here and there shouldn't be too offencive if your sensible and use a little discretion.although if either of you are uncomfortable with these things then you should discuss it together and come to a mutual understanding about it.

Honestly, I don't care what sex you or your partner are, there's a time and a place for everything. If you're just giving each other a friendly peck, go for it, who cares where you are. If you're going to be sticking your tongues down each other's throats, at least wait until you get back into the car (I can understand if you can't make it to a room). But before people get all judgemental when they see a couple making out, try to remember, they may not have seen each other in months...give them some credit

Depends on what the display is. Two people holding hands, hugging, small kisses, I'm ok with it. Any two people going at it in public, loath it.

I don't mind hugging, hand holding and chaste kissing, like hello and goodbye. I absolutely am disgusted by open mouths tongue down through moaning and groaning stuff that I see heterosexuals do in public places. And I can barely tolerate GLBT's doing the same.

no problem with it as long as it is not over the top. That goes for hetrosexual as well as homosexual.
It is much better to see two people showing affection than two people standing in the street shouting and verbially abusing each other.

well, it depends how far they go. I don't mind if people kiss and hold hands..making out i think is only okay in the movies where no one can see you but when your sucking face with each other at like a restaurant thats just disgusting. its just a matter of where you are and if its the right time

Depends upon how far it goes.
Holding hands, hugging and quick kisses are socially acceptable in public; climbing all over each other and making out is not.
