The good ole days are long gone, I'm sorry to say. In twenty years, we will look back and this is what we will be saying. Wow, remember all the wars that were going on? Remember the animal spieces that were here and are now extinct? Remember all the crooked governments? Remember the gas prices? Remember how we thought the world was crowded then? Remember when there were rain forests? Sorry.

You have a point. Eventually, these will be "the good old days" to someone in the future. I know things seemed much easier when I was in college, but I also wasn't paying that much attention to what was going on in the world and my biggest concern was doing well in my classes. I guess it all depends on your point of view.
