we are not hypocrites. we are open to all. we will feel better for the welfare of others. tradition, culture and discipline are words to most of our youth. our youth do not know much about it. it is the fate of our education. now-a-days, education became technical and materialistic. no moral or social values are put to education system. the free flow of money and globalisation has made way for the spreading of AIDS in negative way. the developed countries like America and western countries are much very turned to our joint family systems and social responsibility of family. we are losing it India. i read in American new papers that they have recognised to incorporate social subjects in education.so education with moral values will solve the problem and Indian future.

There are a lot of things we can be proud of our country. Nothing is wrong with our tradition, so also with culture, discipline etc. But we aren't ashamed at all of the dirt we fill with our towns and cities. You travel just 5 km by a train in a morning and you will find at least 50 'innocent' Indians defecating on the other track! The same innocence makes them chew the articles in the Re.1 packets and litter these even on your lap. Spitting out anywhere is their birth right You can just believe that you are a great orator and you needn't think how your loud, meaningless and malicious sound affects the co-passengers.

Undoubtedly, we have a rich past and tradition. Our achievement in various fields like science and technology, mathematics etc are just the spin off from the excellent past. We are just basking in our past glory, without really carrying forward the tradition to its next higher position. On the other hand, we enjoy is the reflected glory of our past illustrious tradition. Nehru, in his autobiography has traced the history of India and explains how our rich tradition of learning has lost the momentum, midway. Our scientific advancement has come to an end at some point in history for various reasons. War, keeping the fruits of learning as a secret within the family and clan etc are some of the reasons why our tradition did grow. All said and done, it is recognised world over, Indian society is an intellectual society. Learning comes to us naturally, unlike even some of the western societies, where much of the population does not take to learning as a matter of routine and it requires some motivation for them to pursue learning.

Diseases and anything that is leding to destruction , is not required in large numbers to cause destruction. One microcospic germ is sufficient cause a big elephant die . but thousdands of them can not create one even during a long time .you know tht it would take several years to raise a tree and several months to build a house and several years to make a man . but all these can be destroyed in a fee minutes. The sopciey howeer moral and disciplined it might be , would have at least a few persons who would be highly immoral and such persons in wil be among people of all levels . If one person contacts the disease , he can spread it among a group of prsons very easily ,It need not necesarily be by sexual contacts alone , so it might be the most important casue of the disease . A vessel used by the affected person , the thiings used by him would be sufficient to spread it . considerint the intensity of th epopulation and the strentgh of th epopulation below the povery line , the number of people with unhygenic habits would be naturally high and the incidence of any disease on a large number of people is not unusualk . you know that a large number of people urinate on road margins and they do not wash their hands and they also uses all publkic fecilities like buses and trains . People afectd by AIDS would also be urinating on road margins , street corners and public walls and pathways . Childre easing on the streets is very coommon . the cimate being hot , the urine and excerta dry up soon and the germs and viruses couls easily fly in th eair and fall onthe other people and people might also be breathing the contaminated air . AIDs being a disease related to sexual organs , it is very likely to be spread through urinating and defecating on the public roads and road margines .Further there being no water fecilities for people uriting while on the move , they easily spread diseases by contact also as every body uses public fecilities like buses , trains and handle the coins and currency notes and do not wash their hands . the unhygeinic habits are among most of the people . A small per centage of the upper middle class and the upper clases alone have some good hyginic habits .There is no surprise in any disease having a high incidence in Inida .The high discipline and tradition , culture aming th epeople alone can not save them from the spread of AID,shortly , immorality alone is not the cause of increase in the number of cases of AID in any society.
One little spark of fire is sufficient to set a very big forest on fire and reduce it to ashes .you do not have to set each every single tree on fire .

we are having the second largest population in world
the openness, frankness together with modernisation has deteriorated the culture.
in big cities culture is just a show piece
but today in remote villages or in rural areas it still exist
if everything is in limit its ok but we specially the youth have forgotten the limits
this i think is the prior reason for the above mentioned problem

Many people are ignorant, there is high level of illiteracy. That's why they don't know abut STD's or HIV. It's nothing to do with culture or tradition but better education and awareness.
