if you have windows XP, you'll need to go into your BIOS and make sure that your computer is going to boot to CD, and then you'll pop your Windows XP cd into the drive, and when asked to boot from disc, you press any key, and then follow the directions on the screen, and when asked if you could/want to delete the partition, do it, and the setup will recreate a new partition. Once windows deletes the partition, EVERYTHING will be erased... Just keep proceeding through the Setup, and then the setup will restart the computer automatically, and you just leave it alone, and it'll automatically run the windows version of setup not the dos one, and just watch for like 30 minutes, and your done.

You will need the discs. I have Windows ME and the discs you insert give you to option to either select what you want deleted and reinstalled or you can delete everything and reinstall everything. The only problem with that is if your machine is somewhat old, you will need to update everything and reinstall everything you installed and downloaded from day 1.

Boot the original OS disk that came with your computer. That will reformat and reinstall the operating system. Anything else you added will have to be reinstalled from their original source (cd's, downloads, etc..)

First backup your valuable archives on some risk-free partition like D,E or F tension. Then use a bootable CD say win XP and stick to the classes by potential of formating tension C. the whole tension C would be wiped sparkling and new homestead windows would be loaded. Now in case you prefer to scrub different drives in simple terms shift archives to tension C and format different drives one by potential of one by potential of excellent clicking on them. the whole computer would be wiped sparkling. No viruses, computer will circulate speedy and extra area would be accessible for storage as undesirable archives would be deleted.
