calcium. since its bigger, the bond wont be as strong and will therefore be easier to break. it'll be fairly tough, since calcium is still pretty small and makes pretty strong bonds, but it will be easier than magnesium.

MgBr2 is easier to decompose because Mg is a is a slightly weaker base than Ca.
