Ok, I'm 16, and I've never had my ears pierced. I was going to when I was a toddler - but my mom "didn't want me to go through pain". I hope to eventually get my nose pierced also...but anyway:
I'll be 17 on Friday, and I want to start out my new year with something DIFFERENT about me. I've been so scared to get my ears pierced - SO scared - but I really feel like I need to get over this fear ASAP.
I basically want to know: DOES IT HURT TO GET YOUR EARS PIERCED? How long does the pain last? Is it really just a "pinch" like everyone says?

NO it doesnt hurt it feels like a pinch for a secound and then it goes away and your ear gets warm and red. I have mine pierced six times on each ear and my tongue pierced and my eyebrow and my nose and none of then really hurt but my ears where like so easy i didnt even know they done it til it was over

I have two ear piercings and my nose pierced..The ears hurt less than a mosquito bite. I mean literally. The most painful part about piercing your hears is having to hear the noise the piercing gun makes. So about piercing your ear dont worry about it. && Piercing your nose hurts more when you already have it pierced then when they open the hole. Just remember to go to a place were they strerilize everything.

it doesnt really hurt, it really is just a pinch (a little pain) 4 lyk a couple seconds and then it'll go away before u kno it, if its jus the fatty part of your ear. if its lyk where the cartilage is (the top part of your ear) it will hurt longer. but u shouldnt be scared its something u would look back at and laugh.

No it doesn't hurt that much, it hurts at first for like a minute- then you'll feel like your ears are heavy from the earrings for the first couple of days but you'll get used to it real fast.

No had it done when I was 6 then 10 then 21 and it didn't hurt all three times. It's was real fast and over in a heartbeat.

I really don't remember since I got mine pierced when I was 6 weeks old, but my mom says I was such a soldier about it. I was asleep and they pierced one and I woke up then went back to sleep and then they pierced the other one and I woke up and went back to sleep again.

Yes it does.I had it done twice. I am only ten. the pain doesn't hurt long.
