Walmart has cheap and well made cribs and crib mattresses.

To figure out my baby's rooms, I figured out the color that I wanted the room to be first. Once I knew I wanted my first sons room to be green, decorating it with frogs seemed natural. My second son I knew I wanted blue. Once I picked the blue that I liked it looked like the sky...so I thought of outdoors, and wound up with an animal theme.

Go get a bunch of paint squares and pick out the colors you like for a child's room. Once you have that build on it from there. Some websites I used after I had my colors were : Target.com, Walmart.com, ebay.com.

But the store I had the best luck with was Burlington coat factory. I am not sure if they have one in your area or not. But they had all the cute stuff that the big expensive stores (like babiesrus) for really good prices. Good luck!

Burlington Coat Factory has a section called Baby Depot. If you are looking for themes - they have a BUNCH of them and they carry just about everything you would need for each theme. This could give you some starting ideas to help you with what you are looking for. They also sell cribs and dressing/changing tables, but I'm unsure of how cheap they are.

Try second hand stores, looking thru the local newspaper or website. Make sure they are up to safety standards first.

Wal-mart is always good...

AS for the nursery set up, I have no idea. We're just gonna put things in there and see how they fit and move them around till it looks right.
