It's not too complicated. You just need to find your pop3 and smtp email information from your mail provider or ISP. It might look something like mail.comcast.net or smtp.optonline.net, etc.

Once you have this, you just go into your account options in Outlook, then plug in the info.

If you're talking about Yahoo mail, you can also do this, but you first have to upgrade to yahoo mail plus for about $20/yr.
If you already do have this, go to mail, options, pop forwarding, settings.

You can contact me if you need help with setting up the Outlook.

Good Luck

Your incoming and outgoing server information is provided by your service provider. For example if your email account is with your cable internet service and your address is something like:

myname@charter.net

Your POP email server will be something LIKE: pop.mail.charter.net

Your SMTP server will be something LIKE: smtp.mail.charter.net

To get the exact information you need to contact your provider - Charter (or whatever).

If you are trying to get your Yahoo email to go into outlook express you need to upgrade your yahoo account to a pay account.

Hope this helps!

If by means of default you imply that you just wish it to open from IE 6 while you click on the e-mail button, that's performed in IE: Internet Tools>Programs tab... Why could you wish to? Outlook is extra complete featured and likewise probably larger blanketed by means of electronic mail antivirus scanners than is Express as a result of the best way that Express handles mail attachments...

You type in your email provider's name in the incomming and outgoing. That way it will go to Outlook.

OE can be used only if the mail server is POP3 or IMAP based. so u need to find out from the mail service provider about this. gmail is free and it provides POP3 access. so u can create a gmail account and u can download ur gmail mails to OE, no need to visit gmail website. however yahoo charges for this service.

You need to provide more details - who do you have your internet service with - who will you email provider be? Then you will bet answers to your question. Since I won't be able to answer you again, if you don't get any answers, you may need to reask your question.
