don't act like this is stupid. just don't answer if you are going to give a rude remark but my dad put tape on the ground and a lizard stepped on it and its legs and chin is stuck!!! how can i get him off??? he is alive but it is so sad and i want to help him without hurting him...what can i do???

pour water on the tape and the adhesive will stop sticking as much than it will be safe to take the lizard off then take the lizard and release it outside

Get goo gone. If you don't have that try mineral oil (baby oil) or any type of oil, pour it on the tape and care fully work it under his feet. If he is the kind that can bite, do his head last. Also don't worry, he won't die. Remember lizards shed their skin! I'm sure he would like to be free before that but he won't die either way.

Maybe if you try slowly to un-stick him? Maybe use a toothpick to put between the tape and the skin, so it doesn't cut him?

vaseline. put some on a q-tip and slowly get it off. careful, if it's a blue belly lizard it's poisones. good luck.

Tie a stay fly to the top of a three ft. piece of string. carry close the stay fly in the front of the lizard, and then wait till he bites. Reel him in like a fish, and launch him again into the wild. :) thanks on your beautiful question.

one time me and my friends seen an injured seagle and had someone call the animal department. how bigs the lizzard? somthing else you can do is just try pulling him off. i love animals and i know how hard this is for you but either let it go honey, or try pulling it off. good luck! hope i helped

Use rubbing alcohol. It will dissolve the polymers in the glue.
