Politics is the simple almost purely social aspect found in any business or government. When people are focused on the issues, theres no problem they cant tackle if given the resources, and no problem unfixable. When people are focused on the POLITICS of something, all of a sudden, making your enemy look bad or giving your close friend a promotion instead of the hard working responsible one that earned it becomes your focus.
The good leaders, like GWB, are people that can rise above office and govt politics to get the job done right not constantly worrying about how youre going to look or what people will think.
