The right lane is slow because everyone slows down to exit on that lane. I dont know about number 2

its called the slow lane because exiting and merging traffic is often below the average speed of the other highway traffic.

I haven't been in a bank that had more than one line in years!

For some reason DOT made the roads that way. It's your own judgement why you end up in the longest line.

I think that they were told to decide to choose, and they chose the right, and nobody really questioned it. Wouldn't it still be the same if it were in the left.

You are always in the longest line becasue life is trying to torture you. It happens to us all
