For the same reason not all white people play golf. People look the same inside e.g. the brain, heart, veins, etc.... Try not to stereotype people.

How about because he doesn't like rap and maybe he doesn't like basketball, either. Those would both be pretty valid reasons in my mind.
Rap is one very small segment of music. Basketball is but one sport of many. Neither are a requirement for being cool.

That is stereotyping. I know other people who don't rap or play basketball. He doesn't want to is why.

What? Umm, I can think of lots of singers that don't do either. And honestly, I can think of lots of people who probably shouldn't.
