I am pregnant for a month. I did not know it. I missed my regular period this month and so i had a pregnancy test and the result was positive. I dont want this baby. So, can i take any birth control pill or any medication to abort this baby instead of an abortion?

No. Birth Control pills are good for only about 72 hours after.

It's kinda dumb to take birth control pills to abort it. It'll most likely cause brain damage instead. You have 3 options. 1) Have the baby and raise it yourself. 2) Give it up for adoption. 3) Have an abortion. There is no other safe way. In the future either practice absence, or use condoms or other back up enforcement.
The best choice is adoption if you don't want it. A lot of people will even pay for your medical bills that deal with childbirth, and pregnancy. There are all kinds of people that can't have children, and would love to adopt. It's the best option of the 3. Abortion is a pretty word used for murder of a child. And the word fetus is a fancy word to make it sound like it isn't a life, but it is.

I'm not sure, but it may be too late for that. The birth control pills usually only work to prevent pregnancy in 1st 72 hours of unprotected sex. You may be think of the abortion pill. The best way to find a sure answer is your local Planned Parenthood.

NO!! The only thing bc pills can do is cause birth defects in the baby after a while. A baby is a precious gift from God. Do not abort, think about another life other than your own and the people out there who cannot have kids, but would make amazing parents. If anything, carry this child and place for adoption at birth. If you are adult enough to have sex, you are adult enough to take responsibility for your actions.

Look at some adoption websites like

Birth control pills or any medication won't abort the baby. You will put yourself in great danger if you try this yourself. It has been proven. It is also illegal to do it yourself even though abortion is legal. If you are too young to get one without parent consent, please talk to another adult before doing something you will regret. If money is the reason, you still have time to raise enough for a ligitimate safe abortion.

no, I know people who have taken a variety of things to try and abort the baby and they didn't work. What's more they ended up either hurting the baby or themselves and now they have to live with it for the rest of their lives. Personally I think you should have the baby. At the end of the nine months, if you truly don't want him or her, give the baby up for adoption.....but that's my personal opinion. I personally don't believe abortion in any form is right, but it is also you're body. You'll make your own decision no matter what we say.

No, don't take birthcontrol pills. The medicine might affect the baby's developement. Any medicine that's not approved by the dr will affect the baby's development.
