Can you predict the melting point of an element based on its molecular weight?

Not really. There are some general trends for similar molecules, though. For example, the alkane series increases in melting point with increasing molecular weight. But you cannot compare two completely different molecules, that is, melting point has more to do with how the atoms of the molecules are connected than how many atoms it has.

No, there is no correlation between molecular weight and melting point.
