I hate my birthday ever since my dad tried to kill himself two day after my birthday. (I was visiting my grandpa in another state and can back to a note.) But ever since that when it is my birthday something bad always happen in my family a couple days before or after. I always get kind of depressed when it come around. Why do I hate my birthday so much? I know all that happens around my birthday is not my fault but I can't help thinking like that. Can anyone tell me why I hate it so.

First of all, Im so sorry youve gone thru that. I have never had anything happen around my birthday, but I always get the birthday blues. Im not sure why.
try not to think about it. From now on , make a change, when your birthday comes around, celebrate, dont dwell on the past. live it up! Have fun! Try to forget about the past.

Maybe you should just make up a new birthday so that all the bad things don't happen right around your birthday! Just celebrate with friends a few months before or after your real one to avoid such misery.

You've got it in your mind that something bad is going to happen..Stop doing that sometimes people can bring things own theirself and not realize it, bad things will happen if you strongly believe it's going to happen ..Start thinking positive get it in your mind that something good is going to happen this year ..think good thoughts not bad ..you have put yourself in that state of mind..It was just a coinsidence that your dad tried to kill himself around your birthday..It could have been anytime ..So put it in your mind that you are not going to accept nothing bad anymore that something good IS going to happen and wait and see it will..Have a HAPPY Birthday..

please dont feel bad around ur bday its a day to celebrate that god gave u another year to be here with ur family and do good for others i recently buried my father and granny and i know that family would not want us to be sad and would want us to enjoy life the best we can take care and god loves u and so do i.
