My daughter is 39 weeks pg and going crazy, want to know of any home remedey type things that have worked. Other than castor oil which I did with one of kids and it worked but not the healthiest way to do it and doesnt always work... PLEASE shes driving me crazy...... ty

tell her to walk . walk up and down a flight of stairs. sex might help. nipple stimulation. an orgasm for her clean the house

Don't do the castor oil thing, it's gross when it works, and rarely does it do anything more than give you the "poops" and cause dehydration, which is what actually causes contractions. It's also harmful to the baby if you get dehydrated. I was in week 38, matter of fact, one day into it, and was told to get some fresh avacados and make me some guacamole and eat it with some chips! I did it and my water broke the next morning. My friend was told the same thing and her contractions started at week 38, day 3, within 36 hours. Walking helps too, I mean, do both. Eat guacamole, and walk.

i went for a long walk with my first child the next day i gave birth or she could have sex that would maybe help also! good luck and congrats to her!
