I have a video box that is external, instead of an internal video card you have to have installed in your tower. I then ran through wireless pods that are connected to my surround sound. Anything I can get on my monitor is sent to my television, games, videos, any search screens, all of it.

There's a converter for that you can find it at local Radio Shack just it's a little bit expensive. If you have a VCR / DVD-R you can tape / DVD all your computer info, like movies, video clips and such, just follow up instructions to plug it in your monitor into your input jacks from VCR / DVD-R

you need a dvi/vga converter cable. that can cost around $50 but you can try buying the dvi/vga converter on ebay for about $2 then use that with a monitor extension cable $ 5 to $7.
