if u talking baout the fire n flare in his batting..then obviously that goes down with the passage of time...but certainly as a batsman...he has improved..by every inning he played...his performance tells u all..there was a priod wher sachin used 2 blast the bowling apart..but coudnt convert into big scors..inficat i remember once saeed had 18 centuries...when sachin only had 12....but later on...he becam more kool n calm...without very much slowin the pace of his batting..and now u see he has 40 centuries to his name...and some big test scores as well.

No one can expect and it is not at all fair to expect him to play with the same passion and strength at which was was playing 10 hyears ago as age factor and the resultant wear and tear is to be considered. However, he still plays excellent cricket expected of his standards

Yes he does...but I'm sure it is reserved for the real stuff...Test Cricket. that is where he still has records top conquer (and hence personal ambition).

The one day stuff is just commercialised garbage which is loads of fun (only ofr the spectators) but means very little in terms of cricketing skill and records!
