The band Paramore sings Pressure.. that is a good song from a girl vocalist.... ooo or what about the song Killing Loneliness by H.I.M.???? i think that would sound awesome by a girl..... ill try to think of more and edit if i think of more....

Anything by Janis Joplin. You can really show off your pipes on all of her songs. When I tried out for Show Choir many moons ago, I sang "Me and Bobby McGee", and was the first chosen for the group. Now I sing in a band with my boyfriend playing rhythm and our buddy playing lead (we are just a small local band, but we have fun).

If you're auditioning for a band, maybe you should write your own song - that way, it will show that you can sing and that you are also able to contribute lyrically and musically to the band.
