The atmosphere is so much more better at a game. You can't feel anything watching TV. When you're at a game and the fans start chanting, it gets you really pumped. And you get to see the full ice at a game. On TV it's just the action part.

I go because its fun and exciting. I like in Columbus and we have a crappy team normally (not this year I hope) but they do a lot of stuff to make the game entertaining. Also, I believe hockey is the best sport to view live. Watching it on tv just doesn't get the point across. Football is probably better on tv, baseball too. But hockey is amazing live. The speed, the action, the precision and beauty of it all combined makes hockey the best live sport to watch.
To those who answer I go to see fights, going to games because of just fights is stupid and ridiculous. If you want to see a fight, pay to see boxing. Certainly no hockey fight is ever as entertaining as that.

Drinking beer with old and new friends!!! Seeing great plays and occasional fights-are just a few of the reasons I love Hockey!!!!!!!!!!

going to hockey games are amazing. the speed and the skill the players have and the fact that there at 18000+ fans screaming together with you.

I like the speed and skill of the game. I like watching the goalie. It amazings me that someone wearing 40 lbs of equipement can move that fast and that agile!! It's a cool game.

I sure do, although unfortuantly the tickets in edmonton are all sold out already so it doesn't look like i will be going to any this year.

I like everything about. I like watching them fight over the puck. My favorite is when the canes score. And i like th fights too!
