This probably sounds dumb. I want to get my ears piereced but I also like the fact that I don't have my ears pierced. I am also VERY supersticious and I think that having earings/holes in my ears will make me not do very well in sports.

If you want to be unique, don't pierce them. I am the only woman I KNOW whose ears are NOT pierced! They make ear "cuffs" to wear on the edge, so you can have jewelry in your ears if you still want.

What does sports have to do with it? It doesn't affects sports at all! I play sports and my earings don't bother at all. I have 8 piercings, 4 in each ear, & it doesn't bother at all. Now, if you pierce your ear and wear heavy hoop earings,then it may feel funny or weird, but by the next day, you won't even feel 'em. I think having your ears pierced isn't a big deal at all. It'll add cute accesories to your look.

If you really don't like it, don't do it. It doesn't hurt that bad and it takes a little while to get used to putting your earrings in and there is some risk of infection, but if you take care of your ears then there's nothing to be worried about. Most people (especially girls) get their ears pierced and it works out fine for them.

Ok first i would get your ear piereced. I mean earing go good with all kinds of outfits. And you can alway take your earings out when you play sports. And if you dont like them after you get them piereced then just let them grow up!!

Don't do it unless your are ready! However, I love my pierced ears. I think that a cute pair of earrings are a finishing touch to any outfit. I played sports with my ears pierced and I did just fine.

Do you want to wear earrings?
If you do, get your ears pierced--it will beat the heck out of wearing clip ons for the rest of your life.
As for sports--having holes in your ears should not affect your performance--just make sure you don't wear anything dangly because it could get caught on something.

i have had my ears pirced for 5 years i havent worn earings for about a mounth in those 5 years (except wheni first got them pierced i had to wear them for 6 weeks dont freak) at first i wanted to get my ears pierced but now i realise that everyone wants or has there ears pirced i think u should just get your ears pirced deal with the 6 weeks buy a couple pair of earings and wear them to specia l occasians by the way im a girl!!!!!!!!!

Well I've had my ears pierced since I was 3 and I love it! It is soooo much fun picking out ad putting on earrings! I do sports, and I do fairly well with earrings on. Although, if you're gonna wear earrings when you do sports, wear stubs. It's really nice. As my father says, "you always need 'bling-bling'". lol

i say go for it, i've got three holes in each ear and have not regreted it once!
for my third holes, though, i went to a little kiosk thing in the mall where they sold jewelry and pierced ears, and they used a different kind of gun that hurt more than the kind they used on my first 2 at Claire's, so i definately reccomend going to claire's

Getting ur ears pierced has nothing to do with sports. Almost every gurl and a lot of guys have their ears pierced. If ur worried about it hurting, u can get them done at the exact same time, that's wat i did. And after u get them done they look really cute! Good-Luck!
