wait no one had anything close to the truth if there is not more than an hour of game time (60 minutes) how can you say it is higher than that. I meant actual game time when players are running, i dont consider the clock winding down as game time.

weelll 15 min. a quarter. 15x4=60. so you get roughly 2 1/2 hours. plus 1 hours worth of commercials

Usually 3 hours, barring overtime or close games (lots of clock-stopping near end of 4th quarter)
