After ovulation, does it go up the closer you get to your expected period? Or does it go down? If you're pregnant, do you even see a change in temp?
My other Q is:
Ok, if you're not PG, how many days past ovulatin is your temp sopossed to be up. For instance: I ovulated 11 days ago, my temp went up 1.2 degreees after egg was released. It has been increasing every day up until three days ago, and now it's just staying high (highest it's been all month by over a degree). Is this more than likely pregnant or not pregnant? thanks so much girls!!!

It was always my experience that my temp would rise after ovulation and stay there for the duration of my luteal phase and drop off just before I started my next period. However, a lot of basal body temp charting methods say that if your temp stays high for 18 days after ovulation, you could very well be pregnant. Wait a few more days and take a home pregnancy test. If it is negative, wait a few more days and take another. If still negative and you haven't started, call your doc for a blood test.

Urban said everything I would say...I agree with her. Your temp is up after ovulation and drops off just before your period comes...If pregnant, it usually stays up.

IT LAST UP TO 16 DAY AFTER OVULATION AND IF HASNT GONE DOWN BY THE 18TH DAY THEN ITS A GOOD CHANCE THAT YOU ARE PREGNANT
